2025-26 Week #3 Team Ratings and Rankings Released
Week #3 team ratings and rankings are now live! This past week 11,150 games were entered into MHR.The database now contains 50,719 counting game scores. A total of 8,413 teams have reached the 5 game minimum and are included in the rankings. An additional 1,882 teams were added just this week.
Another exciting week for our friends up in Ontario. More than twenty-five new Ontario boys and girls ranking categories went live this week. The first set of USA High School state rankings were also released. See the full list and links below:
The additional game scores and rankable teams will bring major changes to most ranking categories. USA youth teams in the major birth year “All” ranking categories are the most impacted by the new data. A vast majority of teams in the system, outside of a select few teams at the top, moved down ranking spots this week due to the sheer number of new teams that became eligible for the rankings.
We strongly encourage you to compare your team’s rating from week to week. Comparing your team’s rating to others in your league, surrounding area, and to teams near you in the rankings, will paint a much clearer picture of how your team is performing at this time in the season. Remember, with all the new teams being added to the rankings each week, seeing a downward shift in the rankings is normal for the majority of teams.
One of the busiest times of the youth hockey season for families all across North America is quickly approaching…Columbus Day weekend! This weekend brings countless tournaments where teams are usually playing new, unfamiliar opponents. While this does great things to improve the overall accuracy of MYHockey when these games are entered correctly, it can lead to errors. We encourage everyone to be on the lookout for erroneous or incorrectly entered games over the next week. If you notice an error, please submit a game correction request by clicking on the red check mark in the "Fix" column located just to the right of all game scores.
